Meet the Team

Kevin McLaughlin

Kevin has been employed by Bensons since 1999. As Office Manager, Kevin leads the sales & lettings team, as well as providing advice to landlords. His responsibilities include carrying out valuations, advising landlords of current legislation and ensuring high standards of customer service.

Kevin's favourite part about working at Bensons is the huge variety of situations that arise each day and having a happy landlord when a suitable tenant is found!

When Kevin isn't working you can often find him playing football and golf.

Rochelle Tierney

A resident of East Kilbride, Rochelle knows the local as well as anyone. Rochelle has previously worked in hospitality and her customer service skills have been invaluable to Bensons since joining in 2021. She has had spells living in Spain with family before returning to sunny East Kilbride.

Rochelle is responsible for taking enquiries, handling repairs and organising the office diary. She is the friendly face you will be greeted with when you visit our office.

Alan Craig

Alan has worked within the East Kilbride area his entire life and began working at Bensons in 2012. His knowledge of the local area is invaluable to Bensons.

Alan has a degree in Geography and a background in teaching English.

Alan's main responsibilities include taking inventories and handling checkouts, turning around properties for new tenants, performing inspections, managing tenant deposits and handling any disputes.

In his spare time Alan enjoys playing guitar, hill walking and travelling.

David Summerhill

During 2015, David began working for Letting Agencies on a freelance basis after working for 33 years in the Public Sector. David commenced working permanently for Bensons during 2018.

He is responsible for the arrangement and completion of Mid-Term Inspection Reports where this is a condition of the lease agreement.

David originates from East Kilbride and is still resident in the town.
